In the old, dilapidated manufacturing district in Seoul, intangible networks of materials and products are still existing, although they have  been weakened as manufacturing industries decline. Moreover, spirits of artisans are found around the site, implying that this site can be revitalized by adding new elements: art studios.

New elements will stimulate the surrounding environment by strengthening the existing networks. Furthermore, this new village as a whole will expand to another parts of a city, establishing a new cultural identity.
