The aim of this project is to liberate the ground level so that a new proposal can function as a public plaza or passage connecting the two adjacent streets-Boylston and Washington Street-while satisfying programmatic requirements. In order for that, required programs were classified into two main categories which are public and non-public(academic). Then two program groups were placed above and below the ground level respectively, making the ground level as an event plaza.
